The day after Thanksgiving is typically the biggest shopping day of the year. Are you ready to start your Christmas shopping, but having trouble coming up with ideas? You can show the ones you love just how much you appreciate them this holiday by giving them the perfect Christmas gift. With Christians in mind, I've put together a few suggestions to stir your thinking toward choosing uniquely personal Christmas gifts:

Mary,

here’s a nifty little gift that I have asked for this year. It’s a scripture memorization bracelet. The bracelets have as secret compartment that holds a verse of scripture and you recite it throughout the day until you have it memorized.

You can go to: http://www.bindingword.com to learn more. They have men’s and women’s styles, they come individually or as a set. Plus, they have ten scripture categories or so to choose from.

Mary, thank you for the articles! It’ll help a lot for the people in my life that I have yet to check off.

Zec, I love the scripture memorization bracelet. That may have to go in my grandmother’s stocking.

One gift that I’m doing this year — a Kindle with a few books already on it. For my grandfather, I’ll get him a Bible (or course) and several of his favorite devotional books. I’m also going to buy him “A Question of Faith” by Tor Constantino (http://thedailyretort.com), which I don’t think he’s read. I’ve found it to be an interesting read within a Bible study.

A kindle is great because his eyes are going, and he can make the print a lot larger! Plus, a Kindle is easier to bring to Church than all of his books at once.
