No Room for Christ at the Christkindmarket

The Nativity Story, releasing in theaters tomorrow, December 1, was turned down by the city of Chicago for presentation at their Christkindmarket German festival. Turns out, there's no room at the festival for an overtly Christian message. New Line Cinema, the producers of the movie, had planned to play a portion of the film at this well-attended Christmas festival. However, their plans were rejected by city officials who said they did not want to offend non-Christians and people of other faiths in attendance.
