Top Christian Podcasts

Friday December 15, 2006
My latest toy is a video iPod. In a very short time I've discovered a whole new world of listening possibilities. Besides audio books, music, and the Bible, I'm having a great time listening to my favorite Bible teachers on Podcast. This list of Top Christian Podcasts contains my own personal favorite Christian Podcasts, that is, after my all-time favorite, Pastor Danny Hodges - my pastor!

Many of my readers have emailed me about their favorite Christian Podcasts. Feel free to leave a comment below, telling us about yours.

Mary,

I never thought I’d see the day when you’d be listing top Christian podcasts. I suppose it’s all my fault for hounding you into getting an iPod and contstantly mentioning my favorite podcasts in my previous posts. Here are some I really like too and think are Biblically sound. Well I don’t know how Biblically sound Stupid Chuch People is, because they tackle another issue altogether.

1) Wrestling with the Basics
2) Issues, Etc. w/Todd Wilken
3) The Way of the Master w/ Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron and Todd Friel
4) The Lutheran Hour
5) Stupid Church People

Mike –

Yes, I have you and my brother and sister to blame – or thank – for urging me to get an iPod. I’m truly loving it!! I was hoping you would share your favorite podcasts. It’s quite an assortment of interesting listening options.

I’ve always listened to those 5, podcasts. The fact that 3 of the 5 are Lutheran in nature should have been a tell-tale sign that I was destined to one day become a Lutheran! LOL

Thanks for those, I love to listen to podcasts on my ipod when I exercise! I love the messages by Rob Bell from Mars Hill Bible Church. They don’t have an official name for them, I think they are just his weekend messages, but they are awesome!!

Thanks for your ministry!

John MacArthur 70 yrs old, regarded as one of the best bible teachers in the world. Free podcasts at gty.org choose from over 3,000 sermons dating back to 1969. Non denominational expository verse by verse teacher, teaching the bible in the literal, historical and grammatical sense, the best way. You won’t be disappointed but he’s deep and profound if you are serious about God’s word, and you should be, go for it! gty.org
