Doing Business as a Christian

Friday June 1, 2007
Starting your own business is no easy task! Today I'd like to highlight a few Christian resources for those of you who are thinking about starting your own business, or maybe you're already in business and just need some support to help you achieve success.
  • Doing Business With John by E.L. Parker is a fresh new Christian book about starting and building a successful business. It follows the example that Jesus set in the book of John as he developed his ministry. Karen Wolff of Christian-Books-for-Women.com recently had the opportunity to review Doing Business with John and she had this to say: "Sometimes the right decision isn't easy to recognize. That's why incorporating Jesus' examples into the business building process makes so much sense and will always yield the right results. I think we can all agree that Jesus' method of building His ministry was successful." Read Karen's full review here.
  • "Can Christian Men Succeed in the Workplace?" by Jack Zavada offers practical advice for Christian men on how to have a successful career and still be Christlike.
  • "Your Career in the New Millennium" by Alan McTier gives seven biblical steps toward managing your career as a Christian.
  • More Christian Career Resources.
