Jump into the Christianity Forum

Wednesday June 18, 2008
Did you know this site has an interactive extension in the form of an online community? If not, I would like to invite you to visit the Christianity Forum! But, before you do, you should know that we have a unique, dual forum format. Please be sure to carefully check out the forum guidelines and general policies before posting. This is not your typical Christian forum!

The forum is designed primarily for Christians and people who will treat members of the Christian faith with respect, even if they do not practice Christianity. Members and visitors are free to discuss topics they find on the Christianity site or any issues associated with Christianity. You may ask questions, share advice and voice opinions.

To meet the needs of our members we have adopted a dual format. The forum is divided into 2 distinct areas, one called the Christian Community (Folders marked CC) primarily for Christians who seek a community atmosphere, and the other called the Debate Community (Folders marked DB) for both followers and critics of Christianity. Folders marked CC are designed for Christians to discuss issues related to Christianity in a non-confrontational community atmosphere. Folders marked DB are exclusively geared for Debate. In this area all members are allowed to speak their views within the limits of the guidelines. Warning! This is the deep end of the pool. The debates can get heated and only those who are prepared to have their views strongly challenged should enter here. We ask that you respect fellow members by observing the guidelines for each of the folder types and directing discussions to the appropriate folders.

The Christian Community (Folders marked CC) is moderated by your host, Mary Fairchild and the Debate Community (Folders marked DB) is moderated by C12 (Citizen12). For detailed rules and guidelines, visit this post first. Then get ready to dive into an interesting and active online community.
