A return trip to Narnia is sure to provide the lion's share of happiness to any recipient on your Christmas list, especially if they happen to be a movie enthusiast or a C.S. Lewis fan. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is now available for purchase on DVD. I was thrilled to see that the filmmakers had faithfully rendered to the big screen version the many biblical themes that Lewis penned within The Chronicles of Narnia. For example, sin's dark power to decay the heart of man, obscure his vision, separate him from God, and keep him in bondage is quite evident in this motion picture. For the purpose of screen adaptation, the film plays out a bit differently than Lewis' book, yet the spirit of the tale is intact. There is much to be enjoyed in this film, including many humorous moments laced with genuine "Shrek appeal."
