On this first Sunday of Advent, what better way to prepare your heart to worship the King this Christmas, than to read the story of our Savior's birth? As you remember how Jesus Christ came to live among us, may the light of his presense revive that same sense of wonder you felt when he first came to live in your heart.

This Christmas story gives a biblical account of the events surrounding the birth of Jesus, from the time of the angel's visitation, telling Mary she would soon conceive the Savior, until the wise men followed the star and bowed down to worship the new born King.

(1) Andrew says:

Thanks Mary,

Sometimes in the business of Christmas, it is so easy to forget what really matters - the lord’s wonderful gift of salvation through the birth, death and resurrection of his son on the cross.

It’s all well and good to make physical preparations for Christmas celebrations, but the most important preparations which we can make are those of preparing our hearts for worship and thankfullness to the lord for his wonderful gift of brining his son into the world.
