You've Got Me Thinking

When will this feeling
Of emptiness leave?
So much darkness,
The light bereaved.

Wishing and hoping,
Excuses taking their toll,
Praying each day,
“God inspire my soul!”

I've been looking for answers,
For signs at my face.
But you've got me thinking...
