Christ redeemed us
from the curse of the law
by becoming a curse for us,
for it is written: "Cursed is everyone
who is hung on a tree."

Galatians 3:13, NIV

Death by crucifixion was not only one of the most disgraceful forms of death, but also one of the most dreaded and painful methods of execution in the ancient world. As we close this series on the crucifixion, take some time today to consider the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.

Perhaps your just not paying attention or this is just a money making site. But no one can “become a curse” if so please explain the use of these words?! God could not become “sin” either or his payment on the cross would have been worthless, in vain, because no sinful one could pay the price. The wages of sin is death. Permanent separation from the father! Jesus (Jeshua) was the spotless lamb which takes away the sins of the world!
