They’re celebrating Oester/Ostara. It’s the pagan fertility rite. Bunnies and eggs are fertility symbols. Most historians agree the historical figure Jesus would have been born in summer, not winter. The reason Xians have Xmas in December is that they stole another pagan holiday, Yule (hence Yuletide). Halloween was Samhain. Some of the Xian saints were appropriated pagan gods.
