How Fit is Your Faith?

Many of us go to the doctor once a year for a physical—a check-up to evaluate the general health of our bodies. We try to eat right, exercise, and keep ourselves fit. The Bible encourages us to periodically do the same for our spiritual lives. 2 Corinthians 15:5 says, "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves." (NIV) And Paul told Timothy that physical training has "some value" but training in godliness has both temporal and eternal benefits (1 Timothy 4:8).

Have you stopped to consider how fit is your faith? Do you need a spiritual check-up? If you sense something might be wrong in your Christian walk, here are 12 signs of healthy faith.
