With the fall semester about to begin, many new seminary students are seriously considering an important investment in Bible software. Fortunately, while researching for this site, I've had the privilege of testing out some truly phenomenal Bible applications. You can read about them in my list of
top Bible software programs, which includes my highly recommended front-runner,
Logos Bible Software.
As a PC user, I haven't had the opportunity to try some of the great programs designed for Mac computers. However, not too long ago contributing writer
Jack Zavada entered the world of
Mac computing and has been working with
Accordance Bible Software. Jack felt more than a bit intimidated when he fired up his brand new Accordance 9 Premier Library Collection. Although he's quite familiar with traditional methods of comprehensive Bible study, this was his first time using
Bible software. It didn't take him long to become a fan.
Spending a few months exploring Accordance 9 before writing his review, Jack said he felt challenged to find anything negative to report. One of the best things about Accordance Bible Software is that it comes in a wide range of packages to fit any budget and any Bible study need.
From student to scholar, Accordance offers collections for all levels of study, with prices as varied as options. Introductory packages start at $149, and can be applied later toward the purchase of other collections, such as Standard Level ($249), Premier Collections ($349), a Hebrew Bundle ($179), Full Catholic Collection ($249), and many more including a Super Bundle ($739) and a Mega Bundle ($1799). Currently, many popular Accordance packages are being offered at considerable savings in this back to school sale which ends August 31, 2011.
