Vampire in the Bible

Best-selling Gothic novels, popular romance films (The Twilight Saga), and hit television shows (The Vampire Diaries, True Blood) have transformed the traditionally repulsive vampire into a glamorized hero of our day. Our teenagers are smitten, if not yet bitten.

You may think I'm joking, but for many the obsession has led to dangerous and deadly experimentation. Christian parents are concerned (and rightly so) about how to respond to their child's fascination with vampire fiction.

Perhaps you're wondering, Is it okay for my child to read vampire books? This article takes a look at the dangers of dabbling in the dark world of the dead. It also offers a practical solution to help parents protect their children from the allure of vampirism while teaching them how to wisely judge between truth and fiction, light and darkness.
