The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ
Today we'll trace Jesus' footsteps on Good Friday, the most difficult day of Passion Week.

In the early morning hours, as Judas Iscariot hanged himself in remorse, Jesus endured the shame of false accusations, condemnation, mockery, and beatings. Perhaps Christ's most difficult heartache to endure was abandonment by even his closest friends and followers.

After multiple unlawful trials, he was sentenced to death by crucifixion, one of the most horrible and disgraceful methods of capitol punishment.

Meditate on the unimaginable sacrifice and incomparable suffering our Savior endured for us throughout his trial, sentencing, and gruesome death by crucifixion:
