Christian readers and book enthusiasts are welcome to submit original book reviews to be considered for publication on the Christianity site.

As you submit your content, keep in mind the following guidelines:

• Book reviews must be in good taste and free from objectionable or offensive language. Appropriateness of the content will be judged at the discretion of the Christianity Guide.
• Submitted content will be edited for spelling, clarity and concision.
• All Scripture quotes must be properly referenced with book, chapter, verse and version / translation.
• Not all submissions will be chosen for publication.

Use the email button below to submit a book review for possible inclusion on this site. Please be sure to include the following information in your email:

1. Your first and last name (It will not be displayed unless requested).
2. Your valid email address.
3. Explain how you would like your byline to display online: first name only, first and last name, or nickname? Be sure to include this information (first name, last name, or nickname) to ensure proper attribution.
4. Write "Submission - Book Review" in the subject line of your email to ensure proper delivery.
5. You must insert the text of your book review into the body of the email. Do not send your text as an attachment! Due to software compatibility issues, reviews that are submitted as attachments will be deleted unread.
6. Newer books (published within the last 2-3 years) will receive preference.
7. Keeping the review short (700 words or less) will increase your chances for publication.
8. Include a star rating between 1-5. Half star ratings such as 2.5, 3.5, etc., are also welcome.
9. List both "pros" and "cons."
10. Be sure to also provide all of the following information:

• Genre

• Release Date

• Author's Name

• Name of Publisher

• ISBN Number

• Format (Hardback or Paperback)

• Number of Pages
11. Authors may not submit reviews of their own books. If a relationship (family, friend, pastor, etc.) exists between the reviewer and the author, this relationship must be disclosed in the review. If an undisclosed relationship is suspected, your review will not be published.
12. Your email submission must contain the following text, which will be automatically inserted into the body of the email when you select the email button below. If the exact text is not contained within the body of the email, your submission will be marked invalid and deleted.

"I certify that I am the author or sole owner of the material I am submitting to About.com. About.com and its licensees may reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works and otherwise use the material for any purpose in any form and on any media. By submitting through this email form, you grant About.com non-exclusive license to publish the material. Copyright ownership remains with the author, who may also use the material elsewhere.
