Job 3:2 - "He said:" (NIV)An astute reader pointed out, the correct answer actually depends on the Bible translation in use. John 11:35 - "Jesus wept." is the shortest verse in the KJV, NKJV and the NASB, however, Job 3:2 is shortest in the NIV and NLT.
