The Bottom Line
The Forgotten Roots is a newly released book about the Judaic roots of the Christian faith. Reading it was quite an eye opener. I was surprised to learn that much of what I had been taught over the years as a Christian was misunderstood and misplaced from its Judaic roots and the original understanding of the faith.I found myself re-evaluating a lot of what I have been taught and the desire to study the Bible has become of more import in my life. This book will make one aware of both the anti-Semitic doctrines prevalent today and the misdirection much of Christendom has been led into by the rejection of its Judaic roots.

Book Review - The Forgotten Roots by M Debono-De-Laurentis
I was surprised and happy to find a book that is both biblically sound (all Scriptures are included in the text) and God-oriented rather than man-focused. The entire book is dedicated to pointing man back to the God of the Bible.
Here's one little quote from the book that the author made that sums up man and God in Scripture: "The Bible only says two things - Man bad, God good."
I do, however, wish the author had gone into more detail on some of the topics covered, as it did leave me wanting more. I guess that is why it is the beginner's guide. The work is an introduction. Let us hope the author will bring out the intermediate guide to follow.
I highly recommend this book to all believers everywhere as a wakeup call that is desperately needed in these doctrinally confusing times.
