Family-Friendly Movies
If your family is anything like mine, you're becoming more and more selective when choosing family-friendly movies. As a result, you're probably finding fewer options as you search for entertainment. I'd like to suggest a handful of my family's best-loved films and give you an opportunity to recommend some of your favorites.

Interview with Letters to God Co-Director Patrick Doughtie
Letters to God isn't a sad movie about a child with cancer. "It's a celebration of life," said the film's co-director Patrick Doughtie, "and an uplifting and inspirational movie about hope and faith!" I had the privilege of interviewing Patrick Doughtie, and I believe, if your family is dealing with cancer and loss, you'll find tremendous...

Angels & Demons - Christian Movie Review
Starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard, Angels & Demons released in theaters on Friday, May 15. Like The Da Vinci Code (a fictional novel by Dan Brown turned motion picture), Angels & Demons is the next blockbuster tale to gain gobs of media attention, launching it into the realm of urban legend.

The List DVD (2008)
A genuine "Christian" movie, I have no trouble labeling The List safe for any audience. With the intrigue of a hundred-year-old secret society, a vast fortune in hoarded treasure, an ancient prophecy, a trail of mysterious deaths, and an evil blood covenant, the movie falls within the genre of suspense drama. (Rated PG)

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG) Return with the four Pevensie children to C.S. Lewis' hauntingly unforgettable land of Narnia.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Movie Recommendation
I highly recommend The Voyage of the Dawn Treader as an extraordinary family movie with strong spiritual substance.

Arctic Tale - Christian Movie Review
(Rated G; Review Rating 3) Entering the beautiful and treacherous kingdom known as the Arctic Circle gripped me with a sense of wonder as Arctic Tale opened. With glacial scenes so spectacular, and an extreme climate so ancient and enduring, one can hardly resist a moment of complete awe. The majesty of God and the glory of his creation are the stars of this production.

Thr3e - Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG-13; Review rating 2.5) In the words of Randy Jackson (American Idol), I'm just 'keepin it real' when I say the acting in Thr3e is not great. Suspenseful action doesn't come close to the intensity of Ted Dekker's best-selling novel, Thr3e . But still I tip my hat to FoxFaith Movies for bringing another clean film selection to...

Amazing Grace - Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG; Review rating 4.5) Two hundred years ago in 1807 the first anti-slave trade bill was passed by England's Parliament. The film celebrates the 200th anniversary of this accomplishment and a true Christian hero, William Wilberforce (Ioan Gruffudd), who fought to end a horrible evil of his time.

The Astronaut Farmer - Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG; Review rating 2.5) The Astronaut Farmer is an entertaining and interesting family film, but it fizzles out on inspiration. Played by Billy Bob Thornton, Charles Farmer's incredible feat, his life long dream fulfillment, falls flat for this movie goer. It's just too unrealistic to be inspiring.

The Last Sin Eater - Plugged In Online Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG-13) "Michael Landon Jr. is best (and most recently) known for directing a series of films based on Christian author Janette Oke's novels. With The Last Sin Eater, he continues to borrow from his famous father's dramatic sensibilities as he brings another bestselling author, Francine Rivers to the screen." Reviewed by Bob Hoose and Steven Isaac.

Flyboys - Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG-13; Review rating 3.5) What Flyboys lacks in plot, it makes up for in action and authenticity. The film is inspired by the true story of the first American fighter pilots, the legendary Lafayette Escadrille. It demonstrates the extraordinary bravery of 38 young men, heroes who risked their lives in the unprotected environment of the primitive, open cockpit biplanes of World War I.

RV - Christian Movie Review
(Rated PG; Review rating 4) Just like the vehicle that lends its name to the film, RV is made for family fun and adventures in friendship. Loads of laugher is its greatest reward, as Robin Williams leads the comical characters with his fascinating and unconventional humor. But along the way there are also lessons to be learned.
