Christian Wedding Vows
Wedding Vow Tips for Your Christian Wedding

By , About.com Guide

At this moment in the wedding ceremony the Bride and Groom face one another to say their Christian wedding vows. Although every element of a Christian wedding is important, this is the central focus of the service. During the vows, the couple makes a promise to one another publicly, before God and the witnesses present, to do everything within their power to help each other grow in becoming what God has created them to be, despite all adversities, as long as they both live. It is a sacred vow, expressing the entrance into a covenant relationship.

Often couples choose to write their own wedding vows. Keep in mind, the vows for the Bride and Groom do not have to be identical.
