Through the Wilderness by James Krechnyak, Jr. chronicles the author's painful ordeals of rejection in childhood, as well as early adulthood, linking them to biblical accounts of wilderness experiences. Anyone who's been the victim of verbal bullying can identify with Krechnyak's struggles, as he does an outstanding job of speaking from the heart. Congo Vignettes by Shawn Lantz
Christian Book Review: In Congo Vignettes, author Shawn Lantz recounts the joys and trials experienced by her family throughout three generations serving as missionaries to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Arranged in short "vignettes," the book is told through the eyes of a granddaughter who never met her grandfather but was deeply affected by his faith. The story is an encouragement to any Christian undergoing struggles, as it relates how God can use our pain to minister to others.
The Mysteries of Reverend Dean by Hal White
Hal White's first published book, The Mysteries of Reverend Dean, is a collection of six fictional mysteries. Setting it apart from most mysteries, these crimes are all solved by an old retired pastor, the Reverend Thaddeus Dean. In this 4-star review by Venice Kichura, she said, "Not only does Reverend Dean have a gift for unraveling murder mysteries, but he also manages to weave in spiritual truths, as well as the gospel message."

Bring Your Vision to Life by Ralph McCall
Bring Your Vision to Life by Ralph McCall begins by asking the question, "What if?" That question is the first step to bringing dreams and desires to life. Many people allow their dreams to be stolen by pursuing that which is expected of them, rather than following their passions. Such pursuit leads to a less than fulfilling life. Bring Your Vision to Life provides a workable plan for doing just what the title promises.

The latest guest Christian book review is Texas Roads by Cathy Bryant, another debut novel in the Christian romance genre. Guest reviewer Edwina Cowgill called Texas Roads "a delightful book to read."
The Ambition by Lee Strobel
Christian Book Review Of The Ambition By Lee Strobel: Although Lee Strobel is most known for his nonfiction Christian apologetics works including the "Case" series, The Ambition launches his fiction writing career. While I thought this first novel left some room for improvement, I'm optimistic that Strobel's fast-paced, well-constructed thriller is just the start of many intriguing adventures to come in the legal/crime fiction genre.
Finding Grace by Donna VanLiere
I just happened to pick up and begin reading Finding Grace by Donna VanLiere at a time when God knew I would a need an extra measure of his grace. VanLiere shares her story like a gifted artist, painting with such creative strokes of humor and real life color, that I scarcely perceived the spiritual lessons working their way into the depths of my spirit. It was as though the words of grace she had written unfolded like God's gift of healing to my heart.
The Mantle of Esther by Larry Christenson
Christian Book Review - The latest guest Christian book review is The Mantle of Esther by Larry Christenson, a study of the book of Esther focusing on the power of intercessory prayer. Guest reviewer Judith Mereki wrote, "Christenson makes the book of Esther come alive. Instead of just reading an Old Testament book, I gave my full attention to the life of Esther as the story unfolded, yet at the same time, was taught the fundamental principles on the power of intercessory prayer.

Victory Bible Reading Plan by James McKeever
One of my favorite Bible reading plans is The Victory Bible Reading Plan, compiled by James McKeever, Ph.D. The one-year simple arrangement literally brings the Bible to life with Old Testament chronological study, a Psalm and a Proverb a day, and a reading through the gospels twice in a year.
Wonderful Acts by Michael Blackmore
Wonderful Acts by Michael Blackmore - Christian Book Review: Guest reviewer David Huntley says he was delighted to review Michael Blackmore's first book, Wonderful Acts. Having known the author for more than 40 years, Huntley has encouraged him during much of that time to write a book. He says, "Michael's capability as a word-smith is evident in this beautiful prose that brings to life the Acts of the Apostles in an amazing 1000 rhyming verses."
Heaven Without Her by Kitty Foth-Regner
Christian Book Review: Heaven Without Her is not just an autobiographical work or a memoir, it is a book for seekers and skeptics of Christianity. The author, Kitty Roth-Regner, has spent most of her adult life vacillating between atheism and agnosticism, until, through the death of her beloved mother, she comes face to face with the unavoidable question of eternity. The narrative style of the book lends nicely to its appeal as natural, non-threatening defense of the Christian faith.
Angel’s Den by Jamie Carie
The latest guest book review is a Christian romance titled Angel’s Den by Jamie Carie. Guest reviewer, Diane Brown, gave Angel’s Den five stars, saying, "Jamie Carie's writing is excellent. She stimulates the imagination with vivid pictures, bold characters and striking dialogue."
In Step With The Spirit by Denzil R. Miller
The latest guest Christian book review is In Step With The Spirit by Denzil R. Miller. The work contains a message to the body of Christ that is easy to read, understand, and apply, and it's all about living in close relationship with the Spirit of God. Guest reviewer Raymond Mwiinga said, "From the writing, it is clear that there cannot be an exciting and productive Christian life without the Holy Spirit. Life in its fullness can only be possible when one walks in step with the Spirit."
