God, Creator
Gift of light
All the earth in His sight
Swell of storms
Calm of night
Raise or diminish with His might
Pain of birth
Life’s delight
Credit Him this phoenix flight
Color, pattern
Niche defined
Not by chance was this design
Each with purpose
Toward good’s end
All His flock does He tend
