The Bottom Line
Having known the author Michael Blackmore for 40 years and having urged him to write a book for many of those years, it is a delight to now hold and review his first work, Wonderful Acts. Michael's capability as a word-smith is evident in this beautiful prose that brings to life the Acts of the Apostles in an amazing 1000 rhyming verses.Description

Book Review - Wonderful Acts by Michael Blackmore
In Chapter 14, where Paul and Barnabas were in Lystra, Paul healed a man with crippled feet and the crowds were inclined to treat the Apostle's visit as the god's of Zeus and Hermes until Paul dissuades them from such worthless pursuits. The author with his ingenious interpretive rhyming verse has brought this scene to life for modern man as no interpretation has ever done. It is unique, it is gripping, and it is simply magical! Multiply this by 28 chapters and you have a work of monumental impact on Christians and non-Christians who care to read the book, which I would encourage.
The author has included a radio series in fifteen sessions for broadcasting Wonderful Acts, and I believe this will be of great interest to radio entities in the English speaking world.
I am sure this work will endure through the ages and I look forward to future inspirations from Michael Blackmore.
