He Did the Unthinkable
- Good Friday is good because Jesus did what no one could do and gave us power over death so that though we die, we shall live if only we believe in his dying and resurrection power. No more death.

It Marks the Day ...
- It is good because, because it marks the day that my price of sin was paid and I became reconciled to God; It marks my getting back to my root, as the true image of God.

A Very Good Day
- Christ's voluntary death and suffering on this day was the first part of a two part act of salvation for all humanity. The second part is his rising on Easter. Without Good Friday there would be no Easter.

Good Friday is a Perfect Day for Us
- It is a perfect day because God himself is a perfect God. He really showed the world that His Love for us is unconditional love by allowing His only begotten Son to die to pay for our debt. So, it is a perfect day, Good Friday.

Why Good Friday is Good News
- The Bible and Christian tradition both teach that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, unique by being fully God and fully man at the same time, how is a mystery. The human dilemma is our debt to God, a debit with two origins, inherited from Adam and Eve, our original parents, and debts we incur by rebelling against God. We cannot pay this debt and survive, the payment is death and hell. Only God can pay this debt and survive, but a man must pay this debt. Jesus Christ is both, so he is ideally suited to pay our debt, and that's exactly what he has done. He has paid our debts for us, because we can't. God proved that Jesus paid our debt for us by raising him from death to life after 3 days. Christians celebrate this on Easter day. We must respond to God by accepting Jesus, repenting of our debts (sins) and putting our trust in Jesus Christ. Believing in Jesus is putting our trust in him. Choosing to be baptized and joining the church completes the process of being forgiven.

Oh, That Great Love!
- He died for me....only for me. Let all of us think this way and start forgiving all.

God's Will Was Done
- It was good because Jesus did the good, pleasing and perfect will of God by being led as a lamb to its slaughter, a lamb without blemish, as an atoning sacrifice to bring hope and life to man through His death and resurrection.

Time to Reflect
- Good Friday is good because it reminds us of all Jesus was willing to do for us! But how many of us truly take the time to take in all that Jesus Christ did for us? Jesus suffering did not stop when he gave up his spirit on the cross. Jesus spirit was immediately plunged down into the eternal lake of fire known as Hell. Each time we sin, we are among those who cried out for our Savior to be crucified. Let each of us take time out of each day to reflect on the sins we might have done that day so we can confess them to God our father and repent from them. Once we know what they are, we can work harder not to commit them any more. It is what Jesus Christ was willing to do for us that we are able to have our sins forgiven by God. Do not let Jesus suffering and death be in vain! Seek to repent so you can honor his holy name.

Redemptive Right
- Good Friday is the day that mankind was redeemed unto God, and also the day that the blood of salvation was shared to restore destiny. (Galatians 3:13-14)

The Real Meaning of Good Friday
- Our Lord, Jesus Christ, died on the cross to conquer death. Christ's victory over death brings the possibility of our victory over death. We still have to be baptized and follow all the Holy Sacraments of our Catholic faith. We still have to repent and make reconciliation with God. God gives us His only Son so that we may too one day be victorious over death ... eternal death. This is the Good News for Good Friday.

Thank You for This
- Our daughter was born on Good Friday--and I've always been ambivalent about this. Now I consider it the day of a gift to us.

Very Good Indeed
- Good Friday is good because it is good. Very good indeed.

It's Great
- With a world like it is today, it's great to see Good Friday. What man would take this suffering, beating, spitting on, like our Lord, Jesus Christ did? We have forgotten what Good Friday and Easter are all about. Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for us.

The Best Day
- I thank God for Jesus. Today is the day of our Lord's crucifixion. He suffered for our sin. He loves us so much that he gave his life for us, although we are not worthy.
