From the article: Thanksgiving Bible Verses
Naturally, one of the most common traditions on Thanksgiving Day is to give thanks and praise to God. The Scriptures are filled with verses expressing words of thankfulness to the Lord for his abundant goodness in our lives.
To complement my collection of Thanksgiving Day Bible Verses, I'm asking you to share your favorite Thanksgiving verses.
Isaiah 12:1-6
- "And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God IS my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH IS my strength and MY song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this IS known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great IS the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee."

- "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." I give thanks to the Lord for many, many things...
