Bible Story of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ

In the pages of history, detailed descriptions of crucifixions are few. Perhaps secular historians could not bear to describe the gruesome events of this horrible and disgraceful practice. Yet the crucifixion of our Lord, Jesus Christ, is well documented in the pages of the Bible.

Next in our series about the crucifixion, we'll take a look at the New Testament account of Christ's death on the cross. I've provided a brief summary of the story and Scripture references where it can be found in the Bible. For those who want to go further in their study, I have also highlighted a few interesting points from the story and a question for reflection.
