Most of us are familiar with the famous "Love Chapter" in the Bible—1 Corinthians 13. But with approximately 730 verses about love (NLT), the Bible has more than a little to say about the subject.
To complement my collection of Scriptures on love, I'm asking you to share your favorite Bible verse about love.
1 John 4:16, John 3:16 , Matt 22:37-40
- 1 John 4:16 - "God is love." John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Matthew 22:37-40 - "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
